Introduction

This blog will record a journey to understand a phenomena that may not even exist. It has a humour, but may not be conscious. It certainly isn't a part of normal reality.

In this blog will be a lot of probably crazy sciencesque rambling. It might be complete nonsense, but the scientific principles its based on are sound. Its just about working out how far the tower leans.

If any ideas within line up with objective reality, that's going to be pretty terrifying, though it might not seem it at first.

So, my goal has been to understand paranormal phenomena better.  I've been reading and gathering information about all kinds of the phenomena, at a constant rate for at least 15 years. Over that time, I've come up with a few theories, and noticed patterns.

Recently, I've decided that I should try doing some field work, actually putting theories to the test, and seeing if the patterns I've noticed hold up to scrutiny.

The basic outline of what I've noticed after these years is : Weird Stuff Happens, And We Don't Know Why. Illuminating stuff, really. Its a really solid start to any kind of investigation. (That's half sarcasm. This is literally the bottom. It can only go up from here. Its a solid start, because its bedrock)

I can go into a bit more detail. Heres a breakdown of what makes up that basic outline.

1. Its all connected. Demons, bigfoot, UFOs, fairies, cryptids and psychic phenomena. If you start looking into one, the rest all follow. Hotspots for one of these things usually end up being hotspots for other phenomena as well.

2. There's a chunk of it that only happens in our minds. Some events have multiple witnesses, but there's no physical evidence it happened in some cases. But it was a shared experience, and the witnesses are credible, and their story matches up. They may also experience missing time. Theres also an aspect that is physical in many cases. Theres unusual radiation in the area, witnesses might have cuts, bruises or radioactive exposure, unusual footprints, broken branches/fire marks, etc,
Theres an aspect with our minds, and physically in objective reality. Is an ''episode'' caused by a mental or a physical event/manifestation? a mix of both?

Next post will be about what my investigation will entail.
